Cooking holiday

In our Résidence "Le Magnolia" we do organise culinary holidays by giving cooking classes for groups of 4 till 20 persons. We also provide rooms to stay.

It’s possible too book for a session for one or two days. You’re also very welcome to stay longer, even till 6 days (or more), which means 5 days cooking, visiting markets to buy food or visiting farms and 1 day will be spend for visiting local restaurants.

You don’t have to be a chef to visit us. We think that cooking is not only to learn skills but also a social activity to enjoy.So therefore we like to invite: families, groups or friends who like to have fun and in the meantime to progress their cooking skills. Company groups for teambuilding, which we believe can be reached by being busy preparing the most delicious food. People who have a holiday house or are on holiday in France and want to spent a day to learn something . All the people which we are not thinking about.

In Holland we did have a professional kitchen for 26 years and organised cooking workshops for 15 years. We are specialised in the (local) French, Spanish and Italian cuisine, however we have experts in our team who will show you how to make the best marmalade, comfiture or chutneys.

Of course most things will be made of our own organic fruit from the orchard. We will be pleased to organise special arrangements for example more time for visiting cheese farms, wine houses, bee farms, lavender oil preparing local markets, brocantes or visits at the evening markets to eat with and from the local people.

If you prefer to have a calm quiet holiday – walking in the garden and orchard or reading a book, or you want to be spoiled with home-made meals with the all local specialities then it’s worth to come and stay with us.

By the way: it’s not allowed to smoke in the house and we can’t accept animals.

Tariff cook clinics, teambuilding, cooking in France:

Prices are per person, included the gite, cooking under supervision of your hostess, the garden and swimming pool during your stay. Not included are transports and costs outsite the location.

During the clinics and meals are the drinks free like the wines, beer, cooled water, refreshments and coffee.

Please pay € 100,00 when you arrive for pay other drinks.

During the high season (29 juni t/m 30 augustus) are these prices15 % higher.

Reservation isn't possible anymore on: 30th of april till 9th of may and 26th till 29 th of june 2008.

We have two locations for the cooking class: the nice summerkithen of le Magnolia and on the farm of Les Noyers.

Arrangement 1 day:

Between 11.00 a.m. and 15.30 p.m. for people who live of stay close by (locals)

€ 45,00 for 4 till 9 persons

€ 43,50 for 10 till 14 persons

€ 42,00 from 15 persons

Arrangement 3 days, 2 nights

From 14.00 p.m. on the day of arrivel till the day of leaving 11.00 a.m. inclusive 2 diners and 2 breakfast.
